São Paulo Anniversary: a guide with the best points to visit, according to Glamor's editorial staff

São Paulo is full of free attractions, as well as super delicious restaurants, beautiful museums and hidden corners worth visiting. Glamor's editorial staff then indicated the city's special points for you to include in your next tourist itinerary in the metropolis!

Ritz restaurant

"My best friend told me 13 years ago. that I should know about the Ritz. when I first arrived in So Paulo. With a red revolving door in the heart of Jardins, I was introduced to the traditional portion of rice balls and ice-cold tangerine juice , two of the flagships of the restaurant, which has occupied the same space on Alameda Franca since 1981. Ordering a Cosmopolitan at the bar while waiting for a table is also a good choice among the clientele pop and regulars" – Thalita Peres

Duna's Bar

I would like to offer this tip to residents of the East Zone who prefer to walk nearby. Duna's Bar is a perfect restaurant to celebrate birthdays, go out with friends or even set a date. The Arabic theme takes over the decoration and the menu (who also has several options of Brazilian dishes - and they are breathtaking). Going to Duna's is a guarantee of having cold beer, delicious food, good music and a busy atmosphere. – Carolina Merino

Cinema Petra Belas Artes

"I love street cinema. and Petra Belas Artes is my favorite here in São Paulo. In addition to always having independent films showing, it also has programs that are far from traditional – such as Belas Sonoriza, which presents a classic accompanied by a band performing the live soundtrack; thematic "night", where several films are shown at dawn; and even vinyl fair. As I love going to the movies alone, when I feel like it on the weekend, my choice is always there" – Nívia Passos

Copan

" The wave-shaped building. designed by Oscar Niemeyer is well known. but have you ever visited the interior? In recent years, more than a dozen studios in the building have become available on Airbnb. It is recommended, even for residents of São Paulo, to spend a day or two in one of them and enjoy the architecture and the incredible view of the city center . incredible curation, Bar da Dona Onça , by chef Janaína Rueda, and Fel , a bar with a sophisticated atmosphere where you can enjoy one of the best drinks in town" – Manoela Morel

Surroundings of Minhocão...

" Tour 3 in 1 in the heart of So Paulo : spend the morning browsing the books of Gato Sem Rabo, a bookstore founded in 2021 by Johanna Stein, nearby Minhoco. with a very sharp curation of titles written by women. Go to the neighboring building and take the small vintage elevator to the rooftop for an open-air lunch with no time to end at Cora  — the menu prepared by chef Pablo Inca varies according to the seasonality of the ingredients but is all designed for sharing. time and enjoy the tasting with drinks authored by the letter signed by Gunter Sarfert! To close, cross the avenue and enjoy your dessert at Eclair Moi,delicious patisserie with one of the best vanilla + chocolate eclairs I've ever tasted in this city" – Renata Garcia

Praça das Artes

"The place is also attractive. from an aesthetic perspective. and it is usually filled with events on holidays. and commemorative dates even if it is not a holiday. You can just relax and enjoy the peaceful setting of the square. I was there when the Feira Preta took place in 2018 and also in Hip Hop month in November 2022, and there were many shows with artists of the genre (it was awesome!). The space has exhibition rooms and also music and theater presentations, not to mention that it is a documentation center and super important memory for the city" – Esmeralda Angélica

Museum + Delicious lunch

" There are few things. I enjoy doing things in the city as much as going to the double museum. and enjoying a tasty lunch. whether it is a sunny Sunday or a somewhat rainy Thursday. It took me years to go to MASP, but since then, I've been back quite often. I enjoy the walk along Av. Paulista there and extend the program, before or after, to the 2nd basement to sit calmly at A Baianeira , regional food restaurant by chef Manuelle Ferraz with a very special drinks menu signed by Néli Pereira. Think of me when you take the first sip of Cupuaçu honey! Another successful combo is to enjoy a visit to the Museu da Imagem e do Som (MIS) , always with excellent exhibitions, to have lunch at Pipo, by chef Felipe Bronze. I would highlight several items on the menu, but you can't leave without trying the milk pudding" – Isabella Marinelli

Santander Lighthouse

"One of my favorite things to do is. check out the Farol Santander exhibitions. and have a good drink at the Bar do Cofre. located in the basement of the building. As the name suggests, the place was the vault of the extinct Banco Banespa. The space is a jewel. hidden in the center of the city. It also has a double respect! Next to Avenida Ipiranga, there are two gastronomic attractions led by chef Jefferson Rueda to make the list: the Hot Pork (dogão sausage made of tofu and mushrooms and apple ketchup is delicious!) and Sorveteria do Centro (I can't resist the lemon pie ice cream)" – Renata Telles

Nutrisom Restaurante

"Suggestion for anyone. who lives or wants to experience part of the golden gastronomy. of downtown São Paulo: the Nutrisom Restaurant has an all -you-can-eat buffet. with only vegan and vegetarian options – incredible, by the way. The price is the same and ranges from R$50 to R$60, including juices and desserts. Every day they have unquestionably fresh and delicious menus, but I have an extra tip: going on Sundays makes everything more special because it mixes the view of the center with the peaceful and pleasant atmosphere offered by the weather – and even the restaurant's decor. It's wonderful!" – Bruna Cambraia

Breakfast at the Tivoli Mofarrej Hotel

"This one goes out to breakfast lovers. like me: the Tivoli Mofarrej São Paulo. In South America, this is one of the best hotels. by the Reader's Choice Awards 2022 by Condé Nast Traveler. now serves the first meal of the day for non-guests as well as exceptional: on the 23rd floor of the building , with a breathtaking view of the city of São Paulo. The buffet has an unbelievable variety of options, which always vary day after day. There are vegetables, croissants, bread with and without gluten, pancakes, lots of cheese options, exotic fruits and even honey straight from the beehive.A highlight: Eggs Benedict, a dish of poached eggs with a special sauce (with white wine, fancy!) on toasted and warm bread. It is a specialty of the house, which also serves tapioca, crepioca and other personalized dishes that can be ordered on the spot. Refined affection on the belly and feed update with beautiful photos: check!" – Bruna Cambraia
